前几天在Amazon上买东西，可能数额比较大，客服发来邮件说要verify我的信用卡，账户也冻结了。我本来关联的信用卡是没有消费过美元的，客服回复Please, at your
earliest convenience, ask your bank to contact us directly so that we
may verify the information on your account. 打电话给银行人家根本不提供这项服务。因为需要尽快把东西寄到我马上就要回国的同学那儿，所以我直接取消了订单，重新注册了一个账户，用另外一张消费过美元的信用卡，同样收到了verification的邮件，原文如下

* The customer service phone number for your financial institution.
On your fax, please provide the email address used when placing your order and the order number you received in your email confirmation.

紧盯着邮箱的我一看到这个邮件马上把他需要的材料传真过去了（信用卡账单，账单上包括持卡人姓名、持卡人账单地址、信用卡银行客服电话）传真的第一页我同时copy给了Amazon客服邮箱，因为账单是中文的，为了我用英文在账单上把姓名、地址、客服电话三个地方标注了一下并翻译成英文。
传真第一页也就是邮件正文：

* Name as it appears on your credit or debit card: 信用卡持卡人姓名（我写上了英文和中文因为账单上是中文的）
* Address on file with the card issuer: 账单邮寄地址，一般账单上第一页就有地址和姓名
* The customer service phone number for your financial institution: 400客服电话还有海外咨询电话（有的银行专门有海外咨询电话），比如建行就是86-21-38690588 from outside China or 400-820-0588 from within China

第二天没收到回复我又去了邮件催了一下，第三天就收到解冻的邮件了，购买成功哈哈，以后在amazon上就指着这个通过verification的信用卡了
